Lubomír Kopeček is a professor at the Department of Political Science and deputy director of the International Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. He specializes in the past and present of Czech politics and comparative political science. He is the author or co-author of a number of books and professional articles, such as Era of Innocence. Czech Politics 1989‒1997 (Barrister & Principal 2010) or The Rise of Entrepreneurial Parties in European Politics (with Vít Hloušek and Petra Vodová, Palgrave Macmillan 2020).
