Brick-and-mortar shops are attractive to young people

Young people born around the end of the millennium, known as Generation Z, prefer to shop in brick-and-mortar stores rather than online, according to a study co-authored by Vlastimil Reichel from of the National Institute SYRI and Masaryk University, conducted among 1,756 respondents.

Moreover, the shopping habits of Generation Z can be also influenced by influencers and the availability of discount codes. According to SYRI experts, young people born around the year 2000 are united by online life and lifelong use of communication and media technologies.
