Mariola Pytliková works as an assistant professor at CERGE UK of Charles University and as a researcher at the Institute of National Economy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It deals with topics in the field of labor market economics and labor-legal relations. In his research, he focuses on topics related to international migration, studying e.g. the determinants and consequences of international migration and the ethnic diversity of the workforce. In this area, Mariola has, for example, focused on the influence of language proximity, climate change, attitudes towards immigrants, social benefits, immigrant rights and conflicts on international migration. It also deals with the structure and dynamics of wages in the labor market, gender differences and income inequalities in the labor market. She is the recipient of the prestigious Kateřina Šmídková 2015 and Young Economist 2005 awards from the Czech Economic Society.
