Aleš Maršál received his doctorate at Charles University. He then worked at the University of Vienna and has been working for a long time as a senior researcher at the National Bank of Slovakia. In his research, he focuses on financial economics and theoretical macroeconomics. More specifically, his research focuses on the use of dynamic general equilibrium models to understand how and why the business cycle affects asset prices. The project will focus on the study of the economic costs of inflation and their influence on the valuation of government bonds.
