Alena Macková focuses on changes in political communication and political action in connection with the transformation of the media environment and media practices. It focuses on the communication of political actors in the online environment as well as on the communication and media practices of citizens and their possible effects on people's attitudes, polarization and political action. In SYRI, the focus will be on both the communication of politicians in times of crisis and its effects, as well as the determinants of conspiratorial thinking. He works at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at FSS MUNI.
